After purchasing a watch and having a good experience, I decided to purchase another. The only thing I noticed about the first watch was that the warranty card was not filled in or stamped. Would this be considered legit by Seiko?

Bought a second, and it was obviously defective from the start. I immediately contacted Island Watch and they eventually got back to me, stating they would send a return shipping label. Then nothing… Wrote to inquire about the label, still waiting.

The thing about the second watch, is a cursory check would have shown it had a problem. The other thing is the warranty card was again not stamped (different manufacturer). I think if you get a good watch, you’re fine. If not, good luck.

You buy from these guys, you roll the dice. Do you really want to go through that when you buy a nice watch? Never again for me.

Update:
Finally got my refund but it took way longer than it should have and was not professionally handled. You have to continually inquire to find out what’s going on - this shouldn’t be necessary if the seller has a proper return system in place.

I found Marc / Long Island Watch on YouTube when researching Staib bracelets for my Bathyscape. Based off his detailed and informative videos it made perfect sense to purchase a Staib bracelet off Marc too.

Glad I did as Marc has been incredible to deal. Any queries were responded to promptly to ensure sizing was perfect for my wrist. Upon purchase the bracelet was shipped immediately.

Would definitely deal with Marc and his team again...it's great to know that he supports his customer and products so well.

Very disappointed. The warranty is really bad. The thing is covered in plastic so most things you do mot notice until taken off. The extra more expensive bracelet is so sharp you can cut yourself on it. The numbers on the rotating bezel are also bery sharp. The design on the case back has sharp edges. My 15.00 fake GS watch from wish looks and feels better.

I ordered something that upon reflection I wasn't going to be happy with, Marc/Long Island Watches responded to my email within moments, on a Sunday morning and resolved everything for me.

I think this seller should be a winner on tonight's Oscars ;-)

So I had checked out this store quite a couple of times before purchasing. Reading up on a vendor might be pretty important when it comes to watches, I think we can generally agree on that.

And what I read and furthermore saw in their inventory was rather convincing. I stumbled onto their islander model isl 132, that I would presume to be a bit of a homage to the colorful oyster perpetuals that released not too long ago. I decided to pull the trigger.

I live in Europe and ordered at the beginning of December, so I knew patience would be key and the parcel had arrived only a few days after the announced date, which I consider to be an achievement in that kind of season.

The watch is stunning and that high beat movement is doing a wonderful job for the moment, deviating under 10 sec. per day. Could not ask for more.

If I may critize a small thing, which (as you can see in the rating) does not diminish my opinion on this company one bit, is their customer service communication. Whilst really quick and somewhat helpful, I received a couple of one liner messages, often without any formal writing and one even was almost aggressive I felt, although I think it might have been written by someone who does not have English as a first language, a group to which I certainly belong myself, which could also have been the trigger for that. So I excuse if I seemed at all accusing or aggressive in my exchange with the company.
It's just that a simple "hello", "regards" and a signature on an e-mail can provide a more reassuring and professional image. I sometimes felt like I was not communicating with a business, much less one selling luxury goods, but rather exchanging e-mails with a old buddy from high school.

But this is only a small polishing detail, as their answers came at blistering speeds and their product seems to have been very much worth the wait.

Purchased a 38mm Islander. The Watch is AWESOME. Ill be ordering more. SKX013 on Steroids.

We first look at this watch at a jeweler and it $150 more. Looks great and fantastic quality! Love it!

I have purchased two of the Islander watches over the past six months, both have failed. No replacement, only repair and they want you to pay for shipping defective watches. Definitely a sketchy company.

I had to notify the district attorney's office in my county on this guy!

Purchased two islander watches from this company simply because I liked the colors. Both have failed. These are $50 watches that are priced at $300. My own stupidity for trusting the sketchy company. No replacement only repair and they want you to pay to ship it back and it takes six weeks. Ridiculous, stay away.

Want to say thank you to Mark and his team this is my second purchase this time around was a Squale 40mm1545GMT-CER-BK beautiful looking so comfortable on the wrist easy to set and 30 ATM and Swiss made at an unbeatable price. Outstanding customer service and super fast shipping Long Island watch is a trustworthy company any issues at all they will take care of the problem no if or buts..

Just received my maroon dial #ISL-103 pilot watch. Very impressive! Beautiful, quality watch. And, it arrived in only four days from Long Island to Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I keep buying watches from Mark @ Longisland watches since 2015, the service and quality of the products is superb, not to mention his own line of watches Islander, big kudos for Mark!!

You know what I love about Long Island watch? You don't have to deal with any hoity-toity, pain in the ass jewelry and watch stores. The line of islander watches is excellent and beautiful. I cannot believe they can sell watches like this as cheaply as they do. They are made in America as well. Mark is fantastic. His bracelets are the most easily adjustable, especially with the how to videos. Just a great experience for someone that likes watches but doesn't wanna to spend thousands of dollars at a jewelry store.

The watch I purchased was on back order for many months. However, it did eventually come available and I received it within approximately a week after notification that it was available. Good service.
